Agreement and Orders
These Service Terms apply to every service OwnerFreed sells. Each purchase is also governed by an Order — a specific description of the service you selected, its setup fee, its recurring fee (if any), and its included scope. If anything in an Order conflicts with these Service Terms on a commercial point (price, billing frequency, or included scope), the Order controls for that point; these Service Terms control everything else. When you purchase a service, the Order will describe the product/service name, the setup fee, the recurring fee (if applicable) and billing frequency, a plain-language summary of what is included, any integrations or access we require from you, and any material exclusions.
What OwnerFreed Provides
OwnerFreed provides automation services that connect to and work alongside tools you already use in your business — such as your calendar, scheduling system, messaging channels, and payment processor — to reduce repetitive manual work. OwnerFreed does not provide, and is not, a customer relationship management system, scheduling platform, learning management system, student information system, accounting system, or payment processor. Those remain your own tools; OwnerFreed automates work around them.
Setup and Your Cooperation
Setup and configuration require your reasonable cooperation, including timely providing accurate information, granting necessary access to your existing tools, and reviewing configuration choices we present to you for confirmation. Delays caused by your failure to provide required access or information may delay setup and do not, by themselves, entitle you to a refund (see our Refund & Cancellation page).
Automation and AI-Assisted Services
Some services use automated processes, including artificial-intelligence-assisted analysis, to compose communications, interpret requests, or recommend a course of action. Automated and AI-assisted outputs may occasionally be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors, and are designed to operate under monitoring and defined limits rather than unlimited autonomous authority. You are responsible for reviewing automated communications and outputs where reasonable, and for any business decision that requires your own judgment. OwnerFreed does not grant any automated or AI-assisted process authority to make financial, legal, regulated, or similarly consequential decisions on your behalf; those decisions remain yours or are routed to a human at OwnerFreed.
No Guaranteed Business Results
OwnerFreed does not guarantee any business outcome, including but not limited to: uptime beyond what is stated in an applicable service-level commitment formally agreed in writing; a specific recovery time after an incident, unless formally approved in writing; revenue, leads, bookings, enrollments, conversions, or reviews; or that automated or AI-assisted content will be error-free or achieve a particular result. Services depend in part on your own data, your own third-party tools, and factors outside OwnerFreed's control, and results will vary.
Third-Party Tools
Services may depend on third-party software, platforms, communications providers, payment processors, hosting providers, application programming interfaces, or systems you select or already use. OwnerFreed does not control these third parties. Their outages, policy changes, or discontinuation may affect the operation of your services, and OwnerFreed is not liable for the acts or omissions of third parties. Where reasonably possible, OwnerFreed will work to restore or adapt affected functionality.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for: the accuracy of information and content you provide; maintaining your own accounts and credentials for your third-party tools; complying with applicable law in your own business, including consumer-protection, marketing, and communications law applicable to messages sent to your customers; and promptly notifying OwnerFreed of any known issue affecting your service.
Customer Communications and Consent
Where a service sends communications on your behalf to your customers (for example, appointment reminders or follow-up messages), you are responsible for having a lawful basis and, where required, consent to send those communications to your own customers. OwnerFreed will honor opt-out requests received through a service it operates. You consent to receive service-related communications from OwnerFreed about your own account, including transactional emails and, where you have separately opted in, marketing communications.
Fees, Billing, and Recurring Management
Fees for each service are stated in the applicable Order and must be paid using the payment method you provide at checkout, in U.S. dollars unless the Order states otherwise. You authorize OwnerFreed and its payment processor to charge your payment method for all fees due under the Order, including recurring fees where applicable. Where an Order includes a recurring fee, you will be charged that fee on the billing frequency stated in the Order until you cancel, or until OwnerFreed suspends or terminates the service as described below. Recurring monthly management covers the scope described in the Order — generally, monitoring the automation, detecting and retrying failed messages or actions, tracking delivery and integration health, handling opt-outs, logging and responding to incidents, making small in-scope configuration changes, and providing customer support for the purchased service. It does not include building new automation, adding a new integration or channel not in the original Order, or a significant redesign of an existing automation — that kind of work requires a separate quote and your separate acceptance before it is performed or billed. If a payment fails, OwnerFreed may retry the charge, suspend the affected service until payment is resolved, and/or terminate the service if payment is not resolved within a reasonable period after notice.
Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring service at any time using the cancellation method identified in your Order or account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless the Order states otherwise. See our Refund & Cancellation page for how refunds are handled.
Data, Security, and Intellectual Property
OwnerFreed applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the services provided, as described further in our Privacy Notice. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of data you provide, for your own account credentials, and for configuring access permissions you grant to OwnerFreed no more broadly than necessary for the purchased service. OwnerFreed retains all right, title, and interest in its own software, automation designs, documentation, and methods. You retain all right, title, and interest in your own business data, content, and materials. OwnerFreed receives only the limited rights necessary to provide the purchased services to you.
Acceptable Use
You may not use OwnerFreed's services to violate applicable law; to send unlawful, deceptive, or non-consensual communications; to collect or process data you are not lawfully permitted to collect or process; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to OwnerFreed's systems or another customer's data or account; or to reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent OwnerFreed's services as your own product.
Service Interruptions
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including third-party outages, natural disasters, labor disputes, internet or infrastructure failures, or governmental action. OwnerFreed will make reasonable efforts to notify you of a material interruption and to resume service once the interrupting event ends.
How Services Are Provided
Except as expressly stated in these Service Terms or a formally agreed Order, services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Suspension
OwnerFreed may suspend a service, with notice where reasonably practicable, for: non-payment; a suspected violation of the Acceptable Use provisions above; a security risk to OwnerFreed's systems or other customers; or as required by a third-party provider whose platform the service depends on.
Ending Service
On termination, your right to use the affected service ends, OwnerFreed will stop billing prospectively, and each party remains responsible for obligations that accrued before termination, including payment for services already delivered. OwnerFreed handles your data on termination as described in our Privacy Notice.
Updates to These Service Terms
OwnerFreed may update these Service Terms from time to time. A new version becomes effective on the date stated in that version and applies to purchases made on or after that date. Continued use of a recurring service after a new version's effective date constitutes acceptance of that version for future billing periods; it does not retroactively change what you agreed to for past acceptances or past charges.
Electronic Agreement
You consent to receive notices, disclosures, and agreements electronically, including by email and through OwnerFreed's checkout interface. Your electronic acceptance at checkout — including a durable record of which document versions you accepted and when — has the same legal effect as a physical signature, to the extent permitted by applicable electronic-signature law.
