- Account and contact information: name, business name, email address, phone number.
- Order and billing information: the service(s) you purchase, fees, and billing history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor; OwnerFreed does not store full payment card numbers.
- Communications data: content of messages sent or received through a service you purchase (for example, an appointment reminder or a customer inquiry), and delivery status of those messages.
- Integration data: information from third-party tools you connect (for example, calendar or scheduling data), limited to what the purchased service needs to operate.
- Checkout and consent records: a record of which version of our terms and your Order you accepted, when, and how — kept as evidence that you agreed to specific terms.
- Technical and usage information: device/browser information, IP-derived information, and usage of OwnerFreed's website and services, used at a level appropriate to security and service operation.
How We Use Information
We process this information to: provide and operate the services you purchase; process payments; send service-related and, where you opt in, marketing communications; maintain a record of your agreement to our terms and your Order; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; and improve our services.
Who We Share Information With
We share information with service providers who help us operate OwnerFreed, including payment processing, communications delivery (for example, SMS or email delivery), hosting and infrastructure, and — where a purchased service uses AI-assisted analysis — an AI service provider, limited to what is necessary to provide that service. We do not sell your personal information. Providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for core functionality and, where used, basic analytics.
Communications Data
Where a purchased service sends or receives messages on your behalf, we retain the content and delivery status of those messages as necessary to operate and support the service, to demonstrate that opt-outs were honored, and for a reasonable period afterward for support and evidentiary purposes.
Integration Data
Data obtained from a third-party tool you connect is used only to operate the specific service you purchased and is not used for unrelated purposes. Disconnecting an integration stops further collection from that source going forward.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including the length of your relationship with OwnerFreed, plus a further period as needed for legal, tax, dispute-resolution, or audit purposes. Consent and acceptance records are retained as a durable, unaltered record and are not deleted or rewritten by a later update to our terms or this Notice.
Checkout Consent Records
When you accept our terms and your Order at checkout, we create a record of exactly which version of each document you accepted, the commercial terms of your Order (including recurring billing terms where applicable), and when and how you accepted. This record exists to provide reliable evidence of what was agreed, for both your protection and ours, and is not altered by later updates to our terms or this Notice.
Security Practices
We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including access controls limiting who and what can read or write data, and encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not claim any specific security certification.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing, including marketing communications. To exercise a request, contact us using the method below.
Children's Information
OwnerFreed's services are directed to businesses, not to children. Where a business customer's own service involves communicating with a minor (for example, a parent/student relationship in an education business), OwnerFreed processes that data only as instructed by, and on behalf of, the business customer, who remains responsible for its own compliance with applicable law regarding minors.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. A new version becomes effective on the date stated in that version. We keep a historical record of each version and will not rewrite what a past version said.
